Monitoring treatment to make the most of your plan

It’s important to monitor your health while you take VOTRIENT® (pazopanib) tablets to make sure your treatment plan is the right one for you. Your health care provider will test your urine, blood, and heart before you start and while you take VOTRIENT.

Ask your health care provider when you should have the following tests and whether there are any other tests that you may need. Be sure to know how often you need to have any tests and what your goal result is. Use this PDF to keep track of your tests.

Always talk with your health care provider about any changes or side effects that you notice.

If you are experiencing side effects, your health care provider may change your dose to a dose that is better for you. This may help reduce the side effects and may keep them from getting worse. Or your health care provider may decide to stop your treatment with VOTRIENT. Always talk with your health care provider before changing your dose or stopping VOTRIENT.

Call your health care provider if

  • You feel dizzy
  • You have a fever of 100.5°F or higher
  • You have diarrhea and cramps for more than 1 day
  • Your rectal area is sore or bleeds
  • You are too tired to carry out normal daily activities
  • You are still tired even after you rest or sleep
